Thanks to a $1billion investment by Dalian Wanda & Ridong Groups, the GC will have its first absolute waterfront hotel built since the 1980s. Managed by Multiplex Australasia, this vast development has a local content commitment and will generate some 2,500 jobs during construction and operation. When complete in 2019, it will stand as the largest hotel and residential complex in Australia, in one of the country’s most enviable locations.
The 36, 41 & 47-storey towers will house one 5-star, 16-suite hotel and 512 residential apartments with a total of 816 carparks overall. The hotel will feature a fine-dining and boutique retail precinct, a beachfront restaurant and bar, central lagoon and state-of-the-art gym. The meticulously-styled, ultra-modern interiors boasting Euro appliances and marble finishes together with the silver service on offer (24/7 valet parking, concierge and room service) will guarantee the 5-star luxury experience.
