Thanks to a $1billion investment by Dalian Wanda & Ridong Groups, the GC has had its first absolute waterfront hotel built since the 1980s. Managed by Multiplex Australasia, this vast development had a local content commitment and generated some 2,500 jobs during construction and operation. Now complete, it stands as the largest hotel and residential complex in Australia, in one of the country’s most enviable locations.
The 36, 41 & 47-storey towers house one 5-star, 16-suite hotel and 512 residential apartments with a total of 816 carparks overall. The hotel features a fine-dining and boutique retail precinct, a beachfront restaurant and bar, central lagoon and state-of-the-art gym. The meticulously-styled, ultra-modern interiors boasting Euro appliances and marble finishes together with the silver service on offer (24/7 valet parking, concierge and room service) guarantees the 5-star luxury experience. BSF’s significant contribution to this monumental project began with the lateral supports for the podium and towers and continued with the roof steelwork for each of the towers.
